| The ends were cut off, then pinned and sewn sort of magically to fold down over his hands. I can't really explain it. I took pictures and looking at them now I don't even understand it. Laying in bed that night I realized there was a simpler solution - basically visualize a regular sleeve, folded on the crease, then the top layer only gets 5-6 inches taken off, in a rectangle. If you then sew that remaining flap down at the sides, you'd have warm, trapped paws that a dextrous adult could liberate when she chose to. However that might involve stretching the sleeve a bit to remove. Anyway my way is sort of bulky but it works! With his coat on over it he can't remove them. Magic. |
